Blood Values

Here are some of the typical labratory value ranges for dialysis patients vs. normal values.

Soduim:
normal value- 135-145 mEq/L
dialysis patient- 135-145 mEq/L (same)

Potassium:
normal value- 3.5-4.5 mEq/L
dialysis patient- less than 6.0 mEq/L

Phophorus:
normal value- 4.5-5.5 mg/dL
dialysis patient- less than 5.5 mg/dL
